The Audrey Hepburn Pavilion in Tolochenaz, Switzerland closed its doors in October 2002 after six years of commemorating Audrey's life, career, and humanitarian work. Run by volunteers in a converted schoolhouse near La Paisible, Audrey's home for 30 years, the museum displayed Audrey's academy awards, original film posters, and numerous photographs from her childhood, films, and UNICEF work.

The pavilion raised nearly SFr400,000 ($290,000) from admission charges for the Audrey Hepburn Foundation, which supports organizations involved helping children in crisis all over the world such as UNICEF, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and L'Atelier des Enfants au Perou.

The museum's contents were on loan for only five years from Audrey's sons Sean Ferrer and Luca Dotti, and the museum was forced to close when they took the items back. However, according to the pavilion's former director Franca Price, plans are being made to reopen the museum with a new as yet undefined concept linked to Audrey - but one that will resume work on behalf of disadvantaged children.
